| Happy after a good doctor appointment! |
- Sloan's oxygen levels have been higher recently than when she first came home. She's been more around the high 70's to low 80's, a few weeks ago she was more in mid to high 70's. They explained to us that this happens because the pressure has decreased in her lungs which can tend to happen after two months.
- Her weight has been increasing and the doctor feels that it's good, but could be better. He said if she could gain more he'd be happy, but if she continues on the path she's on he's OK with that as well.
- Sloan was also officially discharged by occupational therapy as they do not see any developmental delays at this time (yippee!). Of course they have said that this is not a guarantee that things won't develop in the future but we were so happy to hear that for now she seems to be developing right on track.
- We also received confirmation on her next surgery date. As long as things go as planned, we'll be back in AA at the end of June for surgery on June 26. Her cath will be scheduled a day or two prior, but we haven't received word yet on which day it will be.
- Weight: 11 lbs, 2.8 oz
- Height: Just under 2 feet
- Milestones: Smiles, smiles, smiles! She's such a happy baby and smiles when mom & dad come around or when people talk to her. She continues to baby talk more and more. We're also beginning to get some pretty good head control....we can even get her to sit in a bumbo chair for a bit with her head held up.
- Favorite Toys: She loves her play mat/gym. The girl would lay there and stare at herself for hours if we'd let her. She also enjoys batting around the toys to hear them rattle.

On May 6th we'll be in Ann Arbor to meet with her other cardiologist and have another EKG and echo. I'll be eager to hear what they have to say - hopefully we continue on this positive path.
Lastly, we wanted to share some photos we had done of Sloan by an amazing photographer, Michelle Tippmann. Here is a link to a preview she sent us. The first photo is actually a video if you are to click on it. We cannot wait to see the rest of them!
