Yesterday must have worn Sloan out because she slept the majority of today. I guess I'm not surprised because she was quite cranky yesterday. We weren't quite sure why she was so fussy but there was a time when she was feeding and she cried for about an hour straight. Once that happened, I discussed with the doctors the possibility that my breast milk may be making her tummy hurt (like what happened with Drake). So we decided to play process of elimination and switch her to all formula and see what happens. Since we did that she seems to be responding really well. She's keeping feedings down, I was able to get her to take 24ml by mouth (a record for me - the most I had with breast milk was 7 ml by mouth) and overall seems happier. We are going to continue to stick to formula for her and see if it still goes well.
They doctors started discussing "going to the zoo" again. Right now they are targeting possibly this Sunday, maybe Monday.
Overall a good day with hopefully a goal in sight of getting out of here!
Never got thru on facetime tonight with "the girls". Sounded like you were busy with Sloan's feedings anyway. Hope and pray she continues to progress positively so you all can come home soon. Leslie
